Workshop - Inside the Coconut

Slow down, sit beneath the palms, and experience the coconut. In this two-hour guided workshop guests will explore the life, taste, and spirit of the niu, Hawaii's "Tree of Life." 

Enjoy a relaxed, local atmosphere as you see the different ages of coconuts, taste fresh samples, and learn the history and future of this remarkable plant. You'll also learn to weave your own coconut-leaf fish and hear stories that connect the niu to Hawaiian history and everyday life.
